- Winter Camping Trek
If you've wanted to experience camping beneath a star lit winter sky, this trip is for you. Start at our facility with some hands-on work with the dogs and the equipment you'll be using, and mush to a predetermined spot where camp will be set up. After a delicious home-cooked meal prepared and served by our guides, you'll snuggle into a quality sleeping bag in either our canvas wall tent with wood burning stove or one of our North Face winter tents. This trip offers excellent scenery, ice fishing or cross country skiing, as well as the finest of winter camping.
- Lodge-Based Dog Sledding
Based out of one of Ely's fine winter lodges, you will spend 3 days mushing over the frozen winter wilderness and sleep soundly in a comfortable lodge room. After each days' route is completed, you will enjoy a great meal at the lodge after which you can sit by the fire reflecting on the memories you've built. With this trip you can also head into Ely and explore the quaint shops or snowshoe across a frozen lake, or cross country ski one of the many area trails.
